I was checking out your lights and noticed the Lumens rating on the lights you used. The lights you used have a 12.88 lm rating.
The factory bulbs are like an 1156 or 1157 bulb. If the information I was given is correct, they are rated @ 402 lm.
I am looking at the same idea but I want the new lights to put out the same or more lumens.
I don't want to here the excuse "I didn't see the lights."
I don't want to be at fault because I installed something that was not as bright for the daytime conditions.
Now if I don't have my facts correct I'm all ears cause I would like to clean up the way it looks also.  |
You may be correct with respect to the lumens rating...however, at night when behind the bike in the dark, the small lights really stand out compared to the taillight. I'd say it's a little more intense as opposed to all the single LEDs in the taillight. I've been told they show up well in the daylight too. That said, there is still a good visual difference between them and the break light.
