coolant boiling
they are a great bike arent they. i rarely ride the xj but when i do i realise why i love it so much. i am meant to be selling it at the moment (wife says so) but im not really worried if it dosent get sold. i have put the new t/stat in the nomad and also got a new cap but forgot to get the coolant (i got too excited in the shop). i have removed the radiator and flushed it out but no crud came out, the old t/stat opened when put in hot water but i put the new one in anyway. ($80 for a thermostat, ouch...) i will get the coolant tommorrow and bleed the system properly and hopefully my problem will be cured.
