Well, it’s alive! Closed it all up and started her up. No strange sounds and running smoothly. Did not remove crossover tube or need a ball end hex wrench. Thanks to all for the support.

Oil is changed end of every season (approx. 5000kms) with Rotella T6.

Just ordered a front Avon Cobra AV91 130/90-16 for my nomad. A little pricey at $188 tx and delivered. Did look at Shinko which was about 30 bucks cheaper I think.

Has anyone tried this throttle tamer for a VN1500Fi. It states for all mean streaks yet from what I have read, they are basically the same as a Vulcan/Nomad....
