Have got it sorted, I had a corroded wire to the fuel pump. It eventually just gave up the ghost.

Non starting 98 nomad

Hi brains trust. I'm having an issue with my 98 nomad. I was riding along when the engine coughed, it stalled and now won't start, it will crank over fine but dosent fire.

Havent been,able to test as yet as ive just spent over a week in hospital. Found a loose wiring connection to the fuel pump so im hoping that this may have been the issue

on mine they went )(),from engine out, and there was only one groove, all 3 sat in the groove together. but good news, shes going fine now, I assembled the whole shebang and worked theclutch running...

yes i have had the friction plates out and put the old ones back in again, and have already come to grief with the limiter washers, I have assumed the limiter washers are all the same though?

ohhh very good, ill look it up the old fluid was thick and dirty so it sounds like where I need to be looking. hopefully ill make it home Friday to check it out.
