Front right switch block wires

Recently stripped the bike down for an upcoming trip to give it a "good going over".
Only niggly bit after stitching it all back up is, I have lost my cruise control and front brake not lighting...

Horn part where OEM was with a fabbed bracket-facing backwards.
Air cannister inside front cowling-another fabbed bracket.

If it broke I would probably look at another type.

You can also cut slits around the end a coupla inch's long, then place a hose clamp around the end and tighten up to reduce the end circumference....tadaaaa... adjustable pvc seal...

OEM Speaker specs

Anyone know the OEM speaker specs from the vn1700 range? :hmm:
Specifically the Hz range.

I have almost eliminated the jeryness but the cable noticeably...

The thought that it's constantly transmitting when on high beam also amuses me, although I'm yet to see any random garage doors go up as I pass them by.

I've settled on very loud dual car horns...

Kenwood KAC-M3004 amp/ Polk 5.25" bridged to 150W
Garage remote connected to CB talk button and bike battery....

Denalli Soundbomb Split

Just installed the Denalli Soundbomb Split on the Vaq.
Horn unit in OEM position with compressor in front fairing.
Had to fab a custom bracket for horn unit...still needs tweaking for cosmetic...

Kenwood inputs confusion

From the photos, the inputs are from the front and rear speaker connections that I snipped and spliced into the gold plated RCA plugs from pre-made stereo cable I had laying around.

I spray the inside of the body 1st, let sit for a minute or 2 then scrub with a toothbrush - use your wifes if shes being a pain of late :)
Then turn on the ignition so I can open butterflies....
