Will never use T-6 again!!! trans bearing fried at 40k no big dill until the reality sets in that the motor has to be pulled and the case separated to replace a $20 part 1200 labor at the shoip. oh...

I think you will need to pull the tire and then the swing arm, and will find a bad bevel gear bearing, and perhaps a bad bevel gear. from macmac spot on so far with trhe bevel gear. taking that aprt...

Check? clearance is real good. Dose the swing arm have to come off to get to the joint? having a heck of a time removing c-clip :)
FYI with the wheel off and spinning the shaft you can still hear...

noise is for sure in the shaft area. i have removed the wheel and rear end housing. it may be the u joint. still working on it now.

Hey I'm Chuck, I have a 2001 nomad 1500 carbed, I just switched out my old car tire 195 60 16 with a new one 205 60 16 and iit is not touching anything, my symptom is a rolling noise that is coming...

one thing about the el400 is they dont last, they ride great and every thing else, but just wear out to soon.

I am Running a 205 60 16 primwell ps830 on the rear of my 01 nomad, replacing the bridgestone el400 195 60 16. had to grind the pinch welds to make it fit. glad I made the swap to the larger tire....

powered antenna Two thumbs up... get what you pay for. the whole front center of my inner fairing has a big strip of Velcro for mounting my gps and Ipod side by side.

yes, my amp is mounted under the fairing. and my marine in dash mount came from bass pro shop like $10 bucks, I have replaced that junk system from PYLE... pyle of crap but you get what you pay for....
