Limited days

I'm not ready to give up on riding for the season yet. I am hoping for a few more rides, but it hit home that the days are numbered when my daughter asked if I could change over her tires today. :ohno:

How about you, are you going to ride till the white stuff flies?

as in snow and/or salt.
:yep:
some white crap in the western part of the state

On Sunday Elaine is going away with the son's girl friend so I'm planning on taking off on the bike. Low 50s predicted

Top Cat 10-31-2012 02:18 PM

Cindy and I plan to ride as long as the road salt is not started.
Riding Sunday as it is supposed to be a high of 50 F. (edit; now saying 47F):ohno:
Will try out the gloves Larry recommended from Bear Wallow Gloves.:yep:

Probably will get in a few more rides as long as the road to the highway isn't wet (gravel road).

Either or Larry. Seems around here if they predict an inch of snow, then the city puts down an inch of salt.

The white stuff has already hit here. That's not to say that our riding season is over. Here in Calgary we could get a Chinook, temperatures go way up and roads are dry and we're able to go ridin' again. Some years I've rode right up until the end of November!

I have the bike in at the dealer for a warranty repair and had planned to bring it home yesterday as it had warmed up enough and the streets had dried off. But by the time I had finished work it was starting to storm again.

Weve had rain here every day this week, I'm hoping to still use the bike the next few weeks if I can.

elvis 11-01-2012 12:21 PM

We already had the first snow on our local mountains and it rained quite a lot recently but I'm riding today and will do so whenever I can till the end of November.

It doesn't look great but I'll try to ride a few more times.... Got my space reserved for the Nads' winter hybernation thing, sad so sad :-(

Hi :)

If the rain can stop, I will take out the bike. I had to build another shed to park the wing.
Man, new trailer, new shed... Like Sly said, got to get at least a couple of rides in before
hibernation!

It was great riding in to work this morning, I had to pay extra attention not to miss the exit on the freeway.
