SE Regional Rally
 

Anyone got any ideas for a SE regional rally for 2018?

last few were Helena Ga --Elkins. West Va--- Townsend Tn. and a fall one at copperhead lodge in N. Ga. any one have a preference of these or New ones -- Middle Tenn. area -- Northern Ala -- Some where in Virginia --back to Maggie Valley where the National was several choices

Kentucky--0
Tennessee--1
West Virginia--2
Virginia--1
North Carolina--1 for National
South Carolina--0
Alabama--0
Georgia--3
Florida--0 and probably will never have one, lol

Anywhere in the mountains of NC, Va, Ga or WV would work for me.

I liked Helen because it's nearly centrally located, it had covered parking and we could walk to some place after the ride and have a drink with a meal and Dk always brings a cooler of beer. Elkins was just beautiful and I loved it. I go to the Antlers rally every year and been doing it for about eight years and to a pessimistic, malcontent, serial-bitcher that would appear going to the same place, same people, same hotel, eating at the same four places and a different one here or there, but I enjoy that rally every year.

To most of us the best part is socializing after the rides, otherwise we'd all be riding to different places.

It's sort of like going to your Mama's for Thanksgiving. You get to see your relatives you miss. From time to time, you gonna be the distant cousin there with another workman's comp case tied up in court bugging you to co-sign on a car loan or the uptight militant-Christian sister going through menopause.:D

All in all those are my two wants, unless somebody tosses a new idea on the table and I'm for that.

I hope everybody is more decisive than that. :D In that case put me down for Helen.:yep::D

I just want to try and make the SE rally this year.
If you guys pick a spot and a time that I can make it I'll be there.
