I am replacing the Nad with a Voyager when of course this is sold.... I want cruise.... tour pac.... ect .. this is a great bike... I'm a little dumb founded that I am having this much trouble selling it.... I did not want to do the ebay gig but will if it didn't sell faster.

Oddly enough a Yamaha dealer offered me $8,500 real money on a Venture ... I was seriously temped.

This is not a scam bike is in tip top shape just looking to move to a Voyager.

Have you tried craigslist? It's a depressing price as it's a great deal. I have been thinking of selling mine, and it's a 2007. Good luck.

Well, 7K is cheap and way below book. Where do you live? I am surprised you didn't get any bites. Have you tried the VROC classifieds? There is also the Delphi Vulcan Forum.

Try the VROC classifieds and try craigslist in a nearby city. Is Chicago that far away? I am sure you will sell it. Give it another shot or two. The advertising is free anyway. That being said it doesn't bode well if anyone wants to sell their bike. I guess in general the economic decline has had it's consequences. For me, I'd hate to trade mine as dealers usually won't give you anywhere near it's worth. I hope you sell it.

Yes sir I have tried Craigs List.... vroc which I am a member (29176) and yes it is VERY disappointing. I was offered a fair price on a trade... however.... not enough.... A Harley dealer offered me $6,000 a Yamaha dealer offered me the most. Kawa dealer was next lowest.... the Venture is starting to look better!

Well, you have to do what you have to do. Try the VROC classifieds and hopefully someone on one of the boards or craigslist will buy it. You'd think there would be someone with an old Nomad that would want something newer.

I would love to move to a newer Nomad but would have to sell mine before buying newer, so I would probably be in the same boat as the others trying to sell. Wish I could go ahead and buy but just can't. :'(
