12.5" I have them pulled as far forward as i could, this leaves about 1/2" of space when turned to lock. Don does great work and very easy to work with. I ordered my bars in the raw and i had them finished myself at the local powder coaters to a cost of $65 the bars were $200 shipped, for $265 way cheaper than any thing else out there, especially since there custom bent to work with the frame mounted fairing. I'd give Don 5 stars. If your interested we could meet somewhere in the middle, I live in Wildwood Fl about 3 + hours. I'm off just about every weekend and at least every other weekend take a couple hour ride to where ever... Let me know.
