Hi Norm, Talk about changes. What is or was the East Canada's name? Our name "Nomaddicts" was just a name it wasn't really used. We had a big discussion on that name and there was a lot of legal things brought up when using other names like Pennsy Posse and a name that was associated with a 1% group from Canada, I'm not sure what the name was, something with nomads.

I guess I'll post a thread what the northeast usa name should be. I don't expect a big response in that case maybe the idea of a name will be dropped

Hi Larry, We were Eastern Canada Nomads.
I thought that while Canada East fits the new VBA logo nicely, I would include a couple of other choices and hold a poll. Maybe it will calm a few people if they have a choice.

I did not have the problem, but understand their issues because I do big company meetings too. What I did with the National Rally Hotel was to tell them how many rooms I needed and they blocked them for a 60 day period and everyone had to make their reservations on their own cards in that period of time or they released the block. Of course, with the National they then got such an influx of reservations the first couple weeks that they knew they were OK and that we were not going to run out on them.

I would ask the hotel to give you a 30 day window for everyone to make their own reservations.
