I use Kawasaki 10w40 synthetic oil and Kawasaki filters and have never had to replace any engine or clutch parts. I replaced my drive belt this spring just for peace of mind, there was nothing wrong the belt I took off and it had over 200,000 miles on it.

Yes, ride all year but not just this bike. Spent 2 months on my KLR this year too.
