I used Marine Paint Stripper and took the paint off to the bare steel. After a lot of trial and error due to the clear coat wrinkling. I went with a flat black instead of gloss. I used primer first then 2 coats of flat black. I used this Model # 263422 it's rustoleum Matte Finish Custom Shop. Clear it if you choose to I did not.. Go with a dark primer hides nicks better.Anyway that's how I painted it. I like your Nomad btw.
