Are you planning to ride from home to Duluth in one day? With your side car? It should be about a 7 hr. ride. The Twin cities are a pain at least to me. When i came back from Eureka Springs I rode straight thru hit the cities about 1030 at night there was still a lot of traffic. When you firm up your plans more let me know. I would be happy to ride out to meet for lunch or diner.

After thinking about it, I better stick to Duluth. I better not muddy the water when I'll be on target at Duluth. That is where they will expect me to be. I'm going to be tired when I get that far north anyway. Sometimes I forget that.

The folks from Washington State will be riding east on Hwy 2 and we are planning to meet at Duluth on Aug 8th. If you like, I can get to Grand Island by late afternoon on Aug 7th and share supper with you. Then I can meet my crew in the late morning at Grand Island instead of Duluth. If my memory is right you are about 100 Mi. from Mn. and there is a camp ground at one of your exit;s. look;s to be about 200 Mi. buy freeway I would be spending the night there.Any info. on when is good for you?

I am in Ankeny Iowa so not sure how far that is from Laverne Mn
