What year model Valkyrie tips will work on the Nomad? Are the ones on the 1800 engines the same as the older ones?

Unless you're talking about something that I don't know about, the Valkyrie was a Honda.

Yes that's correct it was a Honda. Several Nomad riders use the Valkyrie exhaust tips over the end of the Nomad pipes.

Below are the item numbers for two sets that are being auctioned on Ebay now. Either set will fit over your stock pipes.

My bad.
I saw "Valkyrie tips" and I was thinking "suggestions" and wondering how tips for improving a Valkyrie would have anything to do with a Nomad!
Dumb.
Tips for exhaust pipes makes a lot more sense.

What is the inside diameter of the tips?

Zoom,
I just bought and installed a pair last week. They just slid over my 2003 stockers....not sure what year Valkyrie they came off.
They have 3 holes and I ran a self tapping sheet metal screw through one. Per suggestion from Cajunrider.
I did screw up the install just a tad by pounding the tips on too hard....created a small pimple on the tips where the stock pipes end...but you really need to be looking close to figure it out because I did it to both. My suggestion is light tapping, make sure bike is level when lining the tips up. But the install was simple. Took about 5 minutes each side.
There is a small gap ...maybe 1/4" where the tips slide over the pipes...gap is just on bottom.
Overall I really like the look and it may have quieted my exhaust at highway speeds(a good thing).
I will take some pics tomorrow and post on this thread so you can see what i am talking about.

Here are the pics....if you look close you can see the "pimple" on each side.
