Ive only had my Nomad 2 months but my first mod was front and rear fender caps (See link Below) just doing my second and thats getting my radiator cover chromed, but this is only the start. I don't think i will be doing any engine mods just cosmetic http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Not much so far, riser pull backs, trail blazer bulb in tail light. Replacing the lowers, and will add led light on back of bike.
I want to add the break away cruise control, chrome radiator cover, bag bars. Then who knows.

So far, risers, K&N air filter, Breakaway cruise control, V&H true duals, Power commander, Rear rack, Highway pegs, lower side bag rails and a Techmount support for the E-Z pass.

Not too much, let's see,
Kury grips,
kury pegs
Mustang seat/backrest
phatt II risers
Windshield bag
luggage rack
Currently installing garmin gps

I am curious how the Brakeaway throttle lock works with Kury grips, I know they are now supposed to work but I would like some "first hand " experience.

Let's see...Nico has scuffed his grips, bent his handle bar, bent his clutch lever, cracked his saddlebag, sh*t on his seat......anything else I am missing??

No, that's about it. But I'm sure he'll do more.

V&H Baggers, Kury grips, Cobra lightbar, stebel air horn, lights under gas tank, phat II risers and PCM III. Will be putting on an air kit soon though, maybe.

Vance&Hines Bagger dual exhaust; DynoJet PCIII air/fuel programmer, dynoed and custom-mapped; CaddmannQ dual air intake mod. Short of going in for the Thunder Mfg. cam kit and/or a nitrous setup, that's about all performance-wise for me.

Wolfman, You may be right. Sure don't look original anymore. :-) My wife certainly agrees with you.
BlownDodge, yeap, that was my intent. Crank it up, get on, turn up the volume lean back and relax and let baby take me away. Better than Prozac. :-)
Tomk, anyone riding a Nomad's a winner. :-) Stock or modded to the max. It's one great bike. No losers here for sure!
TopCat, don't be that way man. :-) Dang near everything on my bike is something I read about from guys just like you. My next mod is going to be a Kuryakyn chrome volt meter. Read about it yesterday. The guy only had 3 or 4 mods on his bike and that was one that got my attention. You may have something I don't have and like it. I'll email you and get the specifics and share any info on anything I might have. That's what this site is for in my opinion. Sharing our passion for one specific motorcycle. I for one would be very much interested in anything you've done to your bike whether it's the first mod or the hundred and 1st. I would never have
posted if I had thought it would prevent someone from sharing. I know you were 99.9% joking so please, tell us all what you've done. You may have the same mod but wired it up different. I've changed the wiring on several of my mods to a better way because of guys just like you and everyone else on this site.
Trip's done us all a favor by giving us a place to share what we all have in common; Nomads.
It's been said a hundred times before, but I'll say it again. I really appreciate what he's done.
Ride safe everyone,
Dano

Dog bone risers(plan to switch to Phat Risers2 when the funds are caught up), Kuryakyn highway pegs and grips, sissy bar with rack, larger lowers, cut out the silencers in the pipes, and I have a tour pak I need to get painted so I can mount it.

I've had mine since the end of September and have about 4200 miles on her. I've added a Mustang studded touring seat with rider backrest, Chilhowee leather tank bib and tassled lever covers, Kuryakyn large ISO pegs on the crash bar, 12v accessory outlet and just yesterday, Optronics silver bullet driving lights on the highway bar. Next up: V&H Baggers, a fuel processor (haven't decided which type yet), and intake mods. I've gotta get busy, in a few months it will be too hot to work in the garage here.

Only mode I have so far is a clock from Clocks4Bikes and a CycleShed if that counts. Still waiting for my replacement battery from motorcyclebatteriesusa. They have been on back order for the past three weeks. It supposedy will ship today.

Oh, forgot about the battery tender and Gorbin electrical connections that I moved over from my previous bike.

Nightmare,

I noticed you have the same year and color as mine. I really like your tour pack, do you have any other pictures?

Before I knew the bike had a built in clock I said to the wife should I mount a clock on the bars? She look at me and I said your right, who care about time while your on the bike. after 25 years of marrage we don't have to talk, half the time we know what the other one is thinking. The other half of the time I'd be in trouble.

I put a headlight modulator on and plan on adding a back off brake light module for safety. I want to lower my 1700 nomad a bit later on as I am too short. I did add an electrical quick connector cable to keep the battery charged in the winter months. I am amazed by all the mods here.
