1700 Nomad accessories

Until the new 1700 has been out for awhile it is going to be hard to find accessories for it. If anyone knows where I can find a luggage rack I would love to know. Even the Kawasaki dealer didn't have one. Bag liners would be a good thing also, but again they seem to be currently unavailable. ???

I think it will be a year or so before youi start seeing accessories available, I think the manufactures need time to design and produce the stuff as well as have some bikes on the road. Since the Classic,Nomad & Voyager are basically the same engine and frame there should be a good choice of things available over time.

I'm afraid that's the problem with buying a brand new or redesigned model. It takes time for the aftermarket to catch up.

BTW, I am still waiting for someone to make a rear fender rail for the 1600's. I guess it ain't never going to happen now.

Cobra make a rack that will fit the 1700 lt sissybar. I know that for a fact, but I'm not sure they make on for the nomad. You might want to give them a call directly.

BTW isn't it the same sissy bar on the 1700 as we have on our 1600s? They look to be the same size and width, etc.

I pulled the specs on the 1600 and 1700 and the sissy bar is the same. But I think the chrome it goes into is different. but the pictures look about alike. So I am stuck with a "Might fit" I think I will give Cobra a call. Thanks!
