Need help

My '00 1500 nomad doesn't always want to start. Sometimes when I push the starter button I hear the solenoid click or make a sizzling kind of sound. I noticed it first after a long ride when my bike was hot. Today it did it cold out of the garage. It starts after I push the starter a few times. Something needs work or replacing. Is it the solenoid, the starter or the switch? Is there a way I can test it? I tested the battery with a load and it was fine. Thanks all.

I would check your battery connections, then the connections at the ignition (key) switch. Do you have an after market, relocated ignition? Sometimes those can be the problem.
