Anyone had any experience with these grips?
Are they comfortable?

I'd never heard of those before, they look pretty cool. I'm curious if anyone has them.

One of my riding buds and good friends has them on his softtail. They look great, couldn't tell you how they feel on a distance ride.

I think someone here bought a set about a year ago. Can't remember who, though.

And the guy that bought them be me.

They are over sized, much thicker than stock and a little thicker than ISO's.
Leather over foam makes them very comfortable.

Mine also has the friction throttle control. Like others, not as good as cruise control, but certainly better than nothing. Throttle control works by rotating wheel at front of grip with your thumb. Works pretty good really. When on 4 lane, I rotate the wheel just enough to give it some friction which makes it easy to adjust speed up and down hills.

Installation takes some work. No problem on the left side. On right side you have to grind, file, sandpaper all the ridges off stock plastic throttle piece all the way to switch housing.
Not hard, just time consuming. The plastic throttle must be smooth. They recommend heavy coating of white lube on bar, then install.

I had ISO's on my last three bikes and just wanted something different. Plus wanted some type of throttle control. I think SAC grips have a good look and are very comfortable. Don't turn your hand black from rubber that ISO's did.

I believe they have great customer service. Before I glued the left side grip, I asked what happens if I want to take it off and it destroys the grip. Can't remember the guys name but he said to return to him and he would make another no charge.

Fellow bikers ask me about them all the time.

If you want anymore info, let me know.

Id seen them before somewhere, they have some nice styles. I think they'd look really good on that Drifter in the other posting. It would have more of an old style retro look.

They do nice work.
Personally, I elected to stay away from the "painted" grips. To me, these are for show bikes, not for bikes that are out in the weather and used a lot.
