Vietnam is a place we should never have been. Politicians do this to our young men and women and think nothing of it. One thing I can say for President Nixon, he brought our troops home from Vietnam. The Vietnam soldier never got the respect they so richly deserved. Just now are they beginning to get some of that respect.

How very true Doc, but make sure that ire is on those whom disgraced those who returned. I wasn't alive than. Had a been I'm sure I would have been in jail for hippie bashing, Louisville Slugger type bashing, that or I would have been like the ending of Easy Rider and I wouldn't have been Fonda/Hopper.

My father-in-law worked at the Pentagon at that time and the stories he told me get me beet red pissed.

See my post in this section with Vietnam sites. You can see the names of fallen soldiers in Vietnam. It is so hard to believe that it has been that many years ago that all these 58,000 plus lost their lives and really for nothing.
