Hey Guys - I have to keep my beloved nomad outside :-[ - today the zipper on my Dowco cover came apart. Now I must buy another cover. It has to be waterproof and pretty heavy duty. I looked at the cycle vault and bike barn. Has anyone had any experience with these kind of covers. They do not touch the bike and have a frame. They are kind of pricey but I don't have any other alternatives. I am considering this kind cuz I have uncovered my bike only to find the damn cat snoozing on my seat!!! Not to mention the dust. I would appreciate any and al input

Bike barn works well. Keeps bike nice and dry.. try to site it out of wind though, flaps a lot.

what about a tool shed from Rubbermaid, Tuff Shed or ??? Some have double doors in front that would make ingress/egress nice and easy. Would be like its own little garage. I had one for my riding mower at a former house that I got at Lowe's or Home Depot (not sure exactly). Not dust-proof, but great protection from weather and the elements.
I had this one. It was great for protecting against the cats and dogs, but kind of a pain to constantly work with. Meaning: laying it out just right so you can drive up on it to put the bike up; zipping and unzipping was cumbersome; and it does drape over the bike, touching it. Overall, it does it's joh though for a pretty good price.

I have a friend who has a Bike Barn and likes it. He has it due to no garage.

I like that hogcabin idea, but since mine drives into the garage I really dont have a need for one. But neat idea if you needed it.
