Well, some of you were right. I said I wasn't going to add anything to my new bike. Well, after De-baffling, highway pegs, Nomad emblems, top bag rails, Iso-Grips and larger lowers on the way, what do y'all think I need to add next. Don't need pipes, like the sound of mine... What I really meant was that I wasn't going to modify the bike, except taking the baffles out. Additions or accessories are different. So I was kinda right...Signed, Chrome Fever... I mean.....Jamie.

Sounds to me like the next thing you need is a second job!
Or a serious line of credit! :)
By the way...there is no cure......

So many options....so little spare cash, that is where I usually end up....
Some options are
saddle bag side rails
light bar (cobra, fire & steel, or CWI)
chrome lower fork covers
chrome front caliper covers
chrome driveshaft cover
chrome side covers
etc
etc
etc
etc
:)

Cruise control, battery tender, GPS, you may also want to try engine guard chaps before next fall...before it gets cold. I am not really into adding much chrome but if you are.. chrome side covers are a good start...see Auiogooroo's pic above. If you think you will use it a good luggage rack? Light bar for safety, vista cruise gives a nice break on long trips.
Enjoy the hunt!
Just use these as excuses to ride to the shops once in a awhile....but buy them online.

Not the gooroo but I can help ya out.
The saddlebag side guards are Fire & Steel or Cobra, I think both are the same and you can get them for the 1500 and 1600 (but they are different mounts for each). Here are the ones at Cruiser Customizing

The chrome bumper....that is another story. I always liked the look of that, but as far as I can find you get no love from Kawasaki on that one, it is a 1500 option only. I have looked everywhere for something like that for the 1600 and have had no luck. The 1600 got the chrome fillers between the bags and fender instead...

This is just my opinion, no slam intended. But if your just going to look at it get some more chormie things. If your going ride it a lot a I would consider a custom seat with a drivers back rest and a set of Phat II risers. And Phat II risers come in chrome.

Jamie,
It is a long list my friend.....many add-ons mentioned here.
You might think about a Kuryakyn Run-Turn-Brake kit...that's an easy install as it's just plug and play. That will turn your rear turn signals into brake and running lights along with the main brake light. The kit comes with red lenses and chrome bezels for the turn signals. You then get matching amber chrome bezels for the front turn signals.
You might like to add a trunk, or an aftermarket seat...or...or...or....like I said....the list is long (and sometimes spendy)!

Forgot to mention I already had the Vista Cruise and my Flame Iso grips came in today, gonna put them on tonight. Just ordered a Nuvi 500, that's gonna be cool. Probably will replace the cheap highway pegs with some Kury pegs. That'll be it for a while, I think.
And to Watchman: I got 1700 miles on her the first 4 weeks, you think I'm just looking at her? lol..... I just want to ride, and when she's just sitting there, I want her to shine.

My plan was to leave my 2007 stock. Today it has many mods. I think the best were cobra light bar and Kuryakyn triple whammie. The look great, but more importantly, they help get me noticed by those cagers.
