does anyone else have a problem with the 1600's mirrors being to low? I have to take my head and turn down and obviously left or right to see what's going on beside and behind me. seems like it's way to much to me. maybe I'm just use to the vulcan 750. but i could just glance left or right and see my mirrors. anyone here change them out with success. extenders?? I don't like takin my eyes off the road more than I have to..

Loosen the handle bar clamps and rotate the handle bars up a tad. Then adjust the mirrors. When I got my Nomad, I thought that the mirrors were way too low compared to the 1500 classic that I had. When the bike was new, I had a wobble at 40 mph. I had the dealer check the steering head bearing torque and when they put the handle bars back on they apparently put handle bars at the right height. Made a big difference. One of those "duh" factors when you realize that's all it was.

Do what classic and faxxxy said. When I rode my bike home from the dealer the handlebars were set so low that I had to move my knees out of the way in order to make a tight turn. Not good. A pair of Phat II risers and repositioning the handlebars did the trick. Make the bike fit yourself.
