Avon Venom Tires & Speedometer Accuracy

I just installed Avon Venom Tires front and rear. The new rear is size 160/80/16. The stock size is 170/70/16 . Will the new tire size change speedometer accuracy or milage accuracy? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks , Rooster 1

Yes, with the 160/80-16 in stead of being 10% off at 60 mph, actually running only 54, you are only 4 1/2 mph off, actually running 55 1/2. This is based off of my Garmin GPS.
