well, I ripped the exhaust of my week old nomad today.. had a shiney new set of v and h pipes to put on.. errr, so I though.. The bike is on the new lift, beer fridge was 3 feet way, old pipes were off, all was going well. open the v&h box and DAMN.... the freakin chrome is totally bubbling on one pipe and the other has a gouge the size of a nickel. So, I went back on ebay and started reading the listing again.. ALL SALES FINAL I read in the last line.. my heart sinks.. luckily, I sent them pics and they said that was not there when they sent them out and are offering me a full refund, including shipping.. so that's not so bad.. now I have a new nomad with no pipes or bags on it at the moment and the beer fridge is now empty as i sat in the garage looking at the laptop for their email to come through... At least they are refunding me.. sheesh.. what a day...

Sounds like you got lucky, a lot of people would have had a battle on their hands. See if you can order some somewhere else. They are nice sounding pipes.

Sorry to hear about that. I've never had a bad experience on ebay (fingers crossed now). Look around on the Internet and find the best price you can, then call Dennis kirk www.denniskirk.com (http://www.denniskirk.com) and they will beat it by $1 as long as they can call up the same thing on the Internet. They ship fast and good to deal with. (they also count in the competitors shipping charges as price) you can read the details on their site.

yea, I called my dealer who i bought it from last week and they gave me 445 for them and they would be here by friday morning.. that's more than what I paid for the first pair, however it's still a good price I think, it's local and it's here in a day. Man.. time to restock the fridge..

I hope things work out for you. As has been stated, many people ebay sellers would say too bad and you'd be stuck with them. Good luck!

Lucky you had a good seller. I buy a lot on eBay, and for the most part have no issues, but it seems with bike parts there are a few more that average selling crap as new. Glad they are looking after you. Nothing makes me more upset than when I end up paying hard earned, good money for junk!!

Wow... I've had some crappy experiences on ebay, but nother that bad. Glad they took care of business and are replacing them.

I have to admit. that company sent me a fed ex return mailer to print, I had them pick em up right from my work and the seller had a full refund, including shipping back into my paypal within 3 hours of fed ex picking them up from my work.. yea, my heart sank when my new pipes were flawed, it's a minor set back but they took care of business.. in the end, the only real tragedy was my fridge is now empty. which isn't THAT bad if you think about it. New pipes here tomorrow...
