With a high of 12 I doubt it.

Kawgirl...if you are coming to Asheboro, let me know...I am 20 minutes away and will ride with you.
I'll let you know what I decide.

What better way to start out the new year? Yes, planning on a ride but I'm here in South Florida so the only thing I might be concerned with is rain. Looks like a front may come through, but temps will be in the low 70's. Early morning best so I can be home to watch my Gators. Enjoy everyone
Is anyone afraid of drunk drivers out there on New Years Eve swerving in front of them? I don't think it would be the safest night to be out there on a Nomad...think we'll stay in and party...haven't talked to Nico about it yet though!

Agree about the new years eve night ride...don't think you will catch me out even if the weather is perfect

We'll ride on New years eve ( early) Temp predicted to be in mid 50's and sunny.
New years day, predicted high of low 30's. Think I will stay in.
Good day to clean the bike.

must be nice to live down south. I rode the bike yesterday at 50* and Ice fished today at 30*, only in PA.

Every new years Day, Kingston to Gananoque Ontario temp is forecasted for 26.6 F but dry and clear. Going to Tim hortons for a coffee. And to see how the New fairing will feel.

Nothing organized. I ride with the PMRG (Phoenix Motorcycle Riders Group) and they do have a ride scheduled, but I am on call for work and can't be away for that long. So when I can sneak away, I'll get in a 50-75 mile ride through the desert.

Don't wuss out Basco! What's a little cold weather? Go for your ride then have your wife warm you up! ;) Gotta see the positive side to it.

Went for a ride this morning around 10:00. Went out and about for about 60 miles. It was a good day for a ride: 70, light wind, sunny...not trying to rub it in.
This afternoon I was wiping Big Red down when my wife came out and was hanging around. I finally said "do you want to go for a ride?". I must tell you I have not taken for a ride on the bike yet since I haven't had it that long and it had been years since I rode last. So I had her gear up and I took her around the block a couple times, about 6 miles or so. She loved it.
For all of you that have your minds in the gutter...have at it...lol.

Tried to do the Polarbear Run. At 7:30 AM roads were reasonably dry, but by 9:00 AM we had an inch or two of snow and temp dropped to 21 with winds gusting to 25 mph. I don't do snow!
