Ok guys, i have had alot of people ask if the 1600 nomad backrest will work for a 1500 nomad. I need you guys to help me with something. If anyone on here owns a 1500 nomad could you please send me pics of your bike. I need one pic of the bike upclose with the seats on. I need one pic with only the drivers seat on. I need pics of the bike with both seats off. And a close up pic of where the drivers seat attaches on the bike. If anyone can help me please let me know. Thanks.

...I can hellp you with a pic with the seats off as mine is kinda dissassembled in the garage. (Seats, tank and bags off) I have Mustang seats so I would be thinking you may want a pic with stock seats. May be able to come up with a pic of stock seats before the switch to Mustangs but may not be close up enough for ya. Let me know if any of this will help.. :)

Hey guys sorry i haven't gotten back to you. Thank you guys very much for the pics. And if anyone else wants to send me pics that is fine. I am in the process of seeing if it can be done. Though it would be alot easier if i had access to a 1500 nomad. I will let you guys know what i come up with. Thanks again.

Lonnie & Allison,
Bummer the 1600 backrest isn't the same bracketry as the 1600. I know you'll be able to put something together. And when you do, there's going to be A LOT of happy 1500 owners with new backrests!
You guys are wonderful and thanks again for making such an excellent product...
Daryl
