Who from the Southwest Region is planning on going to Custer?

How about you Arizona folks? So far, I've only heard that MarkG and I are planning to go.

Okay, BD...I know you're going.

Count me in, 95% sure. Got to work on AudioGR, I think he needs a different job. There should be a good turn out from Colo.

I'll be there.....I am commited to making it happen. Working on a new construction schedule for Tulsa as we speak. Scope just grew, so I think it's gonna work. WooHoo!

Waded through all the threads CJ. Looks like we have around eight from the SW division, along with a couple of guests. Probably three of us from AZ, possibly two from CA, three to five counting guests from CO. Nobody has committed from NV, NM, or UT.

At the moment it looks like I will take off a day or so before you and BD. Still trying to decide which leisurely route I am going to take.

Scott-

Tentative plans to go. Of course, I've been trying to get to Chandler for the past three months, and that's only thirty miles away.......

I'm planning on going...but not planning to the point of booking a room :)

For decades I haven't carried a balance on my credit card, but I've had one since the Western Rally. I've kind of figured in my mind that it has to be paid off and the $'s for Custer has to be in my pocket, not on a credit card.

I've got less than 500 on the card now, so I might make it.

You were only in Mesquite for one night. Heck, you could make a day trip out of Custer. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Yup, the $4.00 gal gas and the 2-300 bucks on the card from Mesquite just coincided with other developments at the same time :(

I just put $400 more on it for Insurance on the bike for a year. Bastards!

Dan,

At least gas will (should) be a lot cheaper this year but man, you got to shop for some cheaper insurance. If your driving record is good, oh yeah... never mind. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif

My wife and I will be there. We will leave Parker Colo. early the 15th, looking to hookup with anyone headed that way.

Cool Pronghorn! Look forward to meeting you.
Right now there is a tentative plane for the Colorado crew to meet up in Denver with some of the riders heading up I-25 from Texas and other parts south on the morning of the 15th. We'll firm up details as we get closer. We could have quite a convoy of Nomads blazing up north! :)

LOL Ells :) Because I took them for about $7,000 on my highside on the dirt road, I'm being nearly patient. I need to look around though and see what else I could get if for even with my huge "failure to maintain control" ticket. :(

Okay, where is Custer? And when?

And Dan, I pay about 800 bucks for my insurance. 400 sounds pretty good to me.

K'now National Rally, S.D., check out info on dedicated threads.

Glad to hear you are getting your bike back on the road, nice sounding 2-3 day trip you have planned. Even though its in a neighboring state, little too far from home for me, this time.

$800...Yikes! How old are you? 25 seems to be a magic age when things get better. I don't know of any other magic ages?
