Another new member from Colorado [Archive]

Hello everyone. I am north of Denver (east of Longmont) and picked up my '99 Nomad in October. The weather has been so kind - so much that I've already put 400 miles on her, and it's March!. I look forward to getting to know the members here, and will hopefully see some of you on the road.

Gotta love the 99s. Red/red or grn/grn?
Also, have you found out if the POG has been replaced? That's the only "gotcha" with that year Nomad.

IF the POG is the plastic oil gear, then yes it has. I just had new cam chains, rings, rockers replaced (ouch) - and they verified the gear is not plastic. It's the red paint - nothing much different from stock, but I love her.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. I hope to meet many of you on rides and rallies. We have younger kids still, so we won't get to as many rides as we would like, but over time, we'll be seeing you more and more.
