Sadly, not a Nomad owner, but at least I'm in the family finally.

I just couldn't put my hands on a late model Nomad in a price range I could do, so I stumbled across a 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic LT for $6600 ... extremely clean with just over 6700 miles ... so, now it's MINE!

I should have my PhatRisers II tomorrow, so I'll finally be able to reach the bars with comfort (I hope).

Well, I hope this doesn't get me booted out of here ... I like you guys, even if you get to ride bigger bikes than me. :(

--Sam

P.S. - Dan, a Harley rider "Terry" that I rode with last Saturday and Sunday, sez he knows you and you aren't totally insane, in spite of what you try to make everyone believe. :)

Nice looking bike.

They let me hang around even though I didn't have a Nomad on-the-road. (It was in pieces for a while)

Just be aware, though. I DID notice the occasional rolling eyes. And how they stopped talking when I entered the room. And the stifled snickers when I mentioned my Classic. And the occasional "innocent" questions like, "Where do you wind it up?" and "Was that a Cracker Jacks special offer?"

Just go along with them. Don't let them see the tears.
