Ok, could the mothership design an uglier license plate mount setup?

Here is what I'm thinking, some sort of blingy - lay-down setup with LED lights(white on the plate and red for the taillight) that would supplement the weak taillight set-up and increase visibility. It's got to accommodate the inspection sticker somehow. Problem is that there are literally hundreds of license plate frames commercially available. Does anyone have an unusual solution they are proud of that they can show a picture?.

Thanks Guys http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

They make VERY FEW that will actually fit the Nomad, I have been toying with a laydown one for couple yrs myself, just haven't bit the bullet yet.

You see that little blue square in the upper right hand corner of his plate? I think that is his. In NY state we have a sticker there and one on the front forks. The one on the plate shows the year and that it is inspected and the one on the forks shows it has been registered. NY State land of taxes and red tape http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
See the red square on my forks in my sig pic? Thats my registration sticker.

After reading beezz's folowing post I would like to change my statement. In NY State they are the same as PA. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

In Pa they're direct opposite. Registration on the plate, since obviously that's where it goes, and the inspection sticker goes on the fork.

I put a Kuryakyn laydown plate on my 2005 Nomad. I had to enlongate the holes a little to get it to fit the stock fender holes...but it looks good.

A friend gave me the type of license plate holder that lays back on the fender. Didn't have to drill anything and it fit just fine after taking off the additional reflectors.

As for her ass, looked just fine big.
