Tour Pack Organizer

OP's thread about a saddlebag organizer got me thinking I should mention something about a Tour Pack organizer as well.

For those of you who have an HD style Tour Pack...ie: HD, Premeux, etc., at almost any HD dealership you can pick up a lid organizer for about $90.00.

They adhere with super strong double sided automotive tape. I would suggest the use of a hair dryer when mounting to get the tape and lid warm when applying it....then continue heating while pressing it firm into the lid. When done...it creates a super strong bond that won't lose it's grip!

Ya just have to get over the fact it has an HD label near the top...or tape over it if you must, but it works great to help keep the smaller things from rattling around back there.... http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

A seem ripper (sewing kit) can remove that embroidery in a hury.

can you give me the dimensions of the organizer? I've been looking for one that might fit the Venture trunk.

I had a small CD organizer for maps velcro'd to the inside lid at one time. But it kept unsticking when the lid heated up. The automotive tape might work better I'm thinking now. I hope the organizer will fit.

This might be a bit big for you RB...but maybe not. The measurements aren't to the knats ass....but are close. You can always stop by an HD dealership and measure one from the backside to be absolutely sure.
