Pretty quite around here. Haven't seen many posts by Rich (Rksaw). Probably busy with the new job. Hope he has a little time when the sun comes out.

Kris, I took the little thermometer apart...doesn't look like you can reverse it. But I have an idea...I might remove the suction cup and stick it on my windshield bag using velcro. I know it is just a $10 thermometer but I think it is pretty handy in the colder months as I change elevations...maybe even the spring months in some places. So I don't want to go through the hassle of losing it and having to reorder.

I will let you know how it turns out.

New bike? New Pick up? Several trips planned....you must work for Obama's Government! http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

Don't forget my new 52" Samsung wall mount TV! I'm just doing my best to stimulate the economy! My buddies at work call me a "one man stimulus package". It's really a combination of things that created a "perfect storm" of opportunity for me to upgrade a few things. I figured I better spend my money now on stuff that I want....before Obama decides for me.... ::).

I've been out ridin', too. Put on about 225 miles the last two days and hoping to do another 100/150 today! I did about 150 on Saturday by myself, while the wife hopped on for another 75 yesterday. Loving the new Tour Pack! I put an LED lightbar on the back and am waiting for a Vulcan emblem to arrive so I can put that on there too. When it's finished I will post a few more pics.

I hope Rich is doing well in his new post and you are right...he is probably very, very busy with his new flock and trying to get his family settled. Looking forward to spring....these 45 degree rides are getting old...too many layers to put on...!

Kris,

Glad you are getting some riding in. I would like to see those pics when they are done. Did you get the TV before the Super Bowl?

Landman...I am planning on moving mine on the other side of the windshield as soon as I get some Velcro.

Summer can't get here fast enough!

The TV came after the Super Bowl...but it is quite an improvement from what we had. Landman....I guess thats the only good thing about riding in the cold.....no bugs to splatter the windshield... :).

Rode another 125 miles yesterday and it was warmer and even sunnier than the previous couple days. The temp gauge got up to 55 at one point and it felt great! Those things are cool....especially for the price!

kris,i'll share some of our wyoming bugs with you when you get
out this way for the june rally.be sure to pack a spray can of
pledge with you as it works great for cleaning dried bugs off
the windshield without risk of scratching the surface.

Hey Guys,
Sorry, I was trapped under all of the boxes in the garage...I had to eat my way out!!!
I only have a minute because I have to go back and see what box my kids and wife are packed away in, but I wanted to stop by and tell you that I am still alive. I don't know about "Scarlett"...I haven't gotten to see her since I drove her up and stored her at the church. I'm suffering from withdrawls, but tomorrow is supposed to be nice.
I'll post more as soon as I get out from under all of this load.
Take care,
Rich

+1...Good to hear you are all asses and elbows down there Rich... ;)! Spring is not too far off....which means two things....baseball and warmer riding weather!

Not only will I soon be busy with Little League, but I will soon be watching #24....you know who he is (yeah baby).....return to the the place of his greatest baseball glory! That is the best news on the Seattle sports front in a very, very long time... http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif!

We all know he won't be the player he was, but he may have a decent year having repaired last years ligament damage in his knee and the energy he will feel from the hometown crowds... http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif!
