The good news is that I got a job with Windham School District as a Testing Specialist. I'll start March 2nd with new hire training.

The bad news is that I won't have any days off to attend any of the Spring rallys. I have reservations at the Bavarian Inn for the Custer, SD rally in June. I may hold on to them for a while to see if I can work something out, but will probably have to cancel them.

Anyway, maybe we can have some meet-in-the-middle (MIM)weekend rides so I can meet up with some of you on occasion.

Take Care,
Pablo

There are lots of good places to eat around the Woodlands or Conroe. We could maybe meet up for lunch or dinner sometime.
Live to ride; ride to eat!

Ride to EAT!? http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif Just a second, let me stop laughing and get up back in my chair.

Sounds good, perhaps we might even persuade some of the brethern around town to join in? I saw a really nice black single seater 1500 today parked at an office bldg. very close to where I work, left a card and some Kawanow info. We,ll see.

That's the motto for the riding group Iron Ravens here in Huntsville. We usually have a ride once a month to a restaurant somewhere. Works for us.

Congrats Pablo! Someday you and I will have to arrange a MIM for a large group like we did last year.

The Texas VROC group has MIM or MCH (meecha halfway) rides pretty regularly. Maybe we should post these events on our group board to let everyone know about them. I think a lot of our members already belong to both groups.
BTW, no one has mentioned my new black front fender. I expected to see coments on the new look. I had to replace it after my deer incident and decided I liked the look of all black and saving $180 over the two-tone with the decal stripes.

Gives the bike a serious, menacing look. Nice, actually. And saves money too. I like it!

It was so subtle I didn't even see it Pablo! It looks really good. Gives the front of the bike a very cool look. Be careful, you might start a trend here.

If I keep replacing parts at the rate I'm going, I'll end up with an all black bike pretty soon.

I've been substitute teaching for Windham and Lee College since July, so I know the environment. The job should be pretty laid back. I'll be based out of the Holiday unit and do GED and academic evaluation testing there and GED testing at seven other units.

As for the Iron Ravens, you can see the web site at: http://www.ironravens.org/

even ole holiday gets pretty wild, not all that long ago there was a pistol in the unit, in the cons hands, not officers. Be safe, and if you need anything keep in touch.
