Maybe this belongs in the Vendor forum, but I have to ask: what on-line dealers have you all found to be reliable and affordable - and with good customer service - for Kawasaki accessories?

(I knew some good Suzuki dealers, but have no experience with Kawasaki vendors.)

Thanks in advance.

Powersports dealers down here are pretty good such as NewOrleansPowerSports.com, LafayettePowerSports.com, etc. They normally have great inventories and some good pre owned stuff.

I've used these guys with success and good pricing.

Here's some places that specialize in OEM parts and accessories.

Cheap Cycle Parts http://www.cheapcycleparts.com
Mr. Motorcycle http://www.mrcycle.com
Bike Bandit http://www.bikebandit.com
Ron Ayers http://www.ronayers.com

With the exception of Ron Ayers, I have done business with these vendors with no problems to speak of. As with anything else, you need to shop around, prices and shipping charges vary between these dealers. It's been my experience that buying OEM parts online saves money over my local dealer, even with the shipping charges added in.

You can say that again! And go figure: these goobers must know the Internet dealers are stealing their customers. Heck, if I could buy at a decent price from my local guy, sometimes I'd give him the business of installing the stuff.

(As it is, he won't even take money to install something bought elsewhere, or so his posted policy says. Of course that might change as sales slide into the crapper.)

My local guy has an internet site, but he doesn't discount there either. I've tried Ron Ayers, but it took a couple of weeks to get an item listed on their site. I don't know how much they stock.

Sorry, I didn't see accessories. Don't buy accessories from dealers. I like cheapcycleparts.com and bikebandit.com

I have made purchases from J & P Cycles, Dennis Kirk and JC Whitney and been satisfied with all three.

I have used meancycles.com , J& P Cycles. I bought my baggers from a local bike shop. They had to order them but they had them in two days. I email the vendors for prices , then show the local guys and they usually beat the prices.
Value accesories , cheapcycles are a couple more that i have used.

Earlier I posted a list of vendors who carry Kawasaki parts and accessories. As we all know, Kawasaki's offering of OEM accessories is dismal. There are a number of vendors I have used to obtain non-OEM accessories. Here are a few of my favorites:

Phat Performance Parts
Meancycles
Competition Accessories
J&P Cycles ($)
Dennis Kirk ($, but will beat any advertised price by a buck)
Value Accessories
Sport Tour LTD (great prices on tires)
Cyclenutz
Cycle Gear
Scootworks

Thanks to Rich for the heads up.
