Lets do this one again now that we have so many new guys.
If you had more money, or more parking spots, what other bike/bikes would you have?
I'd have a Vmax for short fast rides, and a KLR dual sport for off road riding.
What would you have in addition to a Nomad?

The server isn't big enough :)
Add something exotic like a MV
then a 'Wing - well, because
then I'd like some version of a KTM dualsport
and a Mini-trail 70 (green please)
and finally, give me the new Voyager today so I will be the only one with one http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
this should be fun

Probably get a Harley Street Glide (Bike Night), Gold Wing (Cross Country Trips), and maybe last I would get a Yamaha FJR (need for speed)
Since I have limited funds my Nomad does everything all the other ones do http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

A KLR or KTM for dual sport stuff. A BMW 1200 LT or similar for some long distance stuff. Some type of bobber to just bump around on.

I'd buy a Goldwing for long trips, an GSX-R1000 to go fast and an Electra Glide just because I've always wanted one.

I'd have a BMW 1200LT for long trips. And I have always wanted a Ducati monster S4. A dealer told me once that it was patterned after thier 916 superbike and if you change the cams and knock a tooth of the front sprocket the 916 won't stand a chance. Wouldn't mind a bobber with some ridiculous large motor for around town fun.
presently looking at maybe honda shadow, but its for the wife
Knucklehead just for fun!
Triumph Bonneville - love a vertical twin exhaust note!
Ninja ZX-14 just to scare the c#@p out of myself!!

I already have my second bike too. A 1980 KZ1000G. It won a 3rd place trophy last year. It is still stock. I call it my time machine.
What's it like... the frame still flexes at high speeds. The single piston brakes are scarey at times.
But, the whine of the in line 4 still makes me smile. From the time I hit the starter it's fun to ride. It gets a little hard on the back and rear after about an hour.
29 years later and Kawasaki is still making the good times roll.

I have two other bikes 1954 bsa b31 350cc, and a 1959 bsa A10 650cc but what i would like is a vincent black shadow cost is about £28,000 so i will dream on.

A second bike for me would be a "vintage" bike; like say a 1940's Indian Chief; or something along the lines of that.
Would mostly only ride it locally on sunny days or to local motorcycle rallies and "vintage" shows.
I still have a '05 Vulcan 500 that I didn't sell. Bought it for my wife; but she didn't ride it. I still take it out occasionally -- and it is actually a fun bike to ride. Feels like a toy compared to the Nomad.

Oh, yeahhhhh, baby http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif. Or another one I saw on a showroom floor a couple of weeks ago. And then, just to scare the S#!* out of myself and get a good cardio check, the new V-max. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Love that pic Dan "The Zomad". My last bike was a Star Warrior. I might go that way, but my wife has one so I'd probably get the new Raider. I really like that bike. And I'm a fan of both the new Buell's with the 1125 motors.

I've got my "other" choice. The 2K answers my need for speed and for Fast cross country.

I would like an old Indian Chief for when Im feeling nostalgic, and a Hyabusa or GSXR for when I want to relieve some stress.

I have to admit....anything built by Jesse James (http://www.westcoastchoppers.com/jesse/) would be a fun ride for those hot summer days when you're just putting around town.... ;)
Geez Dan..that does look kinda hot eh..lol..Bdog

The Kawasaki Drifter and/or a Chief, a Harley V-Rod, and to build my own custom Big Dog.

If I still lived in VT I'd get a V-Strom 1000 to take on all those dirt road, but since I now live in VA I'd get 10-11 year old Suzuki Bandit to slice and dice on the interstate on the way to work and bomb around all the rural roads to my west.
Bdog - I love the perforated metal pieces under your foot controls. Are they custom and if so, will you give us the dirt?

You build it and I'll buy it from you when you're done :)
I'd get a Honda Valkyrie Interstate.....then a Harley Road Glide.
The Valkyrie would be solid black...the Road Glide...ORANGE!

A V-Max just to know what it feels like to be shot out of a cannon, a Boss Hoss and Boss Hoss '57 Chevy trike, a Big Dog or West Coast chopper, VulcanE's Rune and a Valkyrie.

This would be my pick. A whole bunch of go fast.

They are one offs. Homebrew hwy pegs with adjusters. Works very well and my feet aren't sticking out like wings. Super comfy. They cost about 40 bucks and took about 3 days to design and build..Bdog

My brother had an old Triumph 750 I think it was in the early 70's I rode a bit. It was a beater bike at best but it was the most fun bike I have had for toying around on.
Having to commute through downtown Columbus I wold love to have a Triumph scrambler or a speedmaster for the commute.
For an old bike to have back, my kawa 500 triple. It was the fastest bike I'll ever be on (sub 12 second quarters) and was the one that got the MC craziness out of me! I cried at the time but i got to see what it is like to sit on the road watching first the tail light smashing in front of me before watching it flip and roll on the pavement going away from me.
Too old for that now but I had fun on both of them!
