I am looking to put a tour trunk on my 2005 nomad. Does anyone have one of the tsukayu tour trunks or know anything about them.

For about the same price you can find a HD tour pak on Ebay, sometimes with the luggage rack and brake lights included. These tour paks are very easy to mount with a Wompus rack. Be careful of some of the cheap boxes that are out there as the are flimsy and crack easily.

I was thinking the same thing. Scootworks wants almost $500 for their tour pak and then you have to buy everything else. Their mount is more than Wompus', and the armrests are outrageously priced. eBay is the best antidote for the wise shopper. I like the late model Venture trunks the most, but a HD tour pak can be bought for a fair price. Has anyone here used the large Leatherlike trunk on a Nomad?

I agree. Find a good looking tour pac off ebay and put it on. I got a great deal on a Harley tour pac and made my own rack for it. The leather like trunks would look awsome. I just about went with that but wanted one that opened from the side instead of the back. So I was limited in what to look for. My friend bought one of those $110.00 specials off ebay. It is not as good as my HD tour pac but he can sure pack a lot of stuff in it. He also bought the Scoot works rack. He said it is just a bit flimsy but does a good job.

I believe the Leatherlyke large trunk does open from the side.

In a past thread they were talking about the Leatherlyke trunks...whether the small or large fit best and if it would mount on a cobra rack.
I tried to find it but couldn't. You might look back thru the threads.

FWIW, I had the Tsukayu "Strong" hardbags on my Suzuki Blvd C50T. I can only reply based on my experience with that particular Tsukayu product. Here's what I can tell you about the good and bad of them, in my opinion:
I was not impressed with: the hardware (lock actually came apart on me along with offering little security); the composition (materials) it was made with (flimsy); and the insulation (had to remove it and add upgraded since theirs stripped the first time I opened the lid).
I was impressed with: how much it held; the adjustable range of the mounting hardware; looks.
Bottom line: the HD hardbags are better by far and would've ended up costing me ~ the same when it was all said and done. Oh well, live and learn.
