Hello to All http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

I recently purchased a low mileage ( 10 K ) 2003 Nomad, and unfortunately it will be at the dealer until Spring and the weather improves here. I have used this website to gain both information and how everyone likes the Nomad. I am really excited and looking forward to the first ride home. The bike is Pearl Black, all stock, and in immaculate condition. Once its home, I can see if it has any performance enhancements such as a TFI. I can't thank Trip and all of you for all the information that is available here.
As for myself, I work in the Aerospace industry, and my job is to qualify all the new hardware we manufacture. Mainly flight controls for all the latest commercial and military aircraft.
My hobbies are DIY almost everything. I love anything mechanical or electrical. I am also a Ham Radio operator with the call sign KB2JHY.
I have ridden motorcycles since 1973, and the Nomad is my fifth motorcycle. Currently my other ride is a mint 1987 Yamaha FZR1000 sport bike. My Wife and I are looking forward to putting many miles together on the Nomad.

Welcome from Texas, and you have a lot to look forward to. The Nomad is a smooth, sweet ride. Don't worry about it being stock. We'll take care of that, here.

Just keep repeating, "I must have bling, I must have bling." http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Welcome from Route 66 in New Mexico. Will the dealer let you go sit on your new bike on weekends? http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif It would be hard to buy a bike and not get it out of storage :-[
