Just a quick question: Do the bag, side rails fit after you install after market pipes?

Hi Voyager,
I think it depends on the pipes. I bought my side rails here on KawaNOW from landman. I think he had Cobra pipes (can't remember) and they didn't fit for him. I installed V&H Baggers and the rails clear just fine with those.

I have Roadhouse Dooleys and Cadillac ends, and I had to turn them sideways to get them to fit.y I'm sure they would have fit with the slash cut or the British ends.

I have fishtail extensions and they won't fit on my bike.

They fit great with V&H. or other slip ons (supertrapp, Reinhart)that I've seen. Personally they really finish off the side and back of the bags.

Davidjones1 , the fairing is from The Trike shop see link below.

It's a one piece molded. Had to modify the brackets a little so I could keep my CWI driving lights.

I have stock mufflers on my Nomad. The side rails bolt up to the exhaust hanger bracket in front of the bag and to the crossbar beneath the rear fender. I would guess that it all depends on the tail end of the aftermarket pipes whether the rails would work or not.
