My 2004 1500 FI Nomad is the "bronze" color you are asking about. It actually looks black until the sunlight hits it just right -- then you see a deep "root-beer" bronze sparkled color. It is an interesting color and I believe they only made it for a couple years and stopped after '04
I tell most people that the bike is black. I get a lot of compliments on the "bronzing" color -- but only if the sun is just right to wear it is noticeable.

Come on, you tell people your bike is black so they will think it's faster! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

CJ; Am I supposed to say that?!! I just assumed that was a foregone conclusion that it IS the fastest -- thus no mention is necessary. I mean... really... most people are just too busy bowing to it to notice it isn't really black. Ha!! ;)

Fish: you should have known Trip wouldn't have missed a detail like that -- especially when it was such a limited color-run.
Like I said; the Metallic Dark Bronze looks black unless the sun light hits it just right -- then the metallic bronze color shows. It is rather cool looking. :)

Kawasaki Releases First Five 2004 Cruiser Models
Kawasaki calls this monotone color "Metallic Dark Bronze." Looks like black to us. Here it covers the familiar Vulcan 1500 Nomad FI.
