If you are riding I-5 between Roseburg and Grants Pass, check out Heaven On Earth (http://heavenonearthrestaurant.com/). They are known for their dinner plate sized cinnamon rolls that are just delicious. I think the rolls cost about $10 but can be shared by 4 or 5!!!

I like going to Haugans on Wed. nights, its their bike night and usually about 800 bikes show up. They serve the best root beer there also. And Thurs night is classic car night,it brings back a lot of memories.

I haven't actually eaten here, but since it's in Chandler Arizona, maybe Cactus Jack could provide us a confirmation?

Conestogas restaurant in Alachua, FL. It has some of the best burgers. Stogie Burger is 16 oz. of beef and it is excellent.

The Hilltop Inn located off of LA-16 in Head of Island, LA. Located on the Amite River Diversion Canal about 1 mile from the intersection of LA-22 and LA-16. Follow the signs. Great fried seafood platter with cold beer and mixed drinks. Boat launch on site with outside deck overlooking the Diversion Canal and beautiful waterfront homes across the canal. Also, Kevin's Seafood and Steak Restaurant very near on LA-22. Also on Diversion Canal. Both are located about 30 miles East of Baton Rouge.

I've never eaten at the Heart Attack Grill, just don't have the desire. It's right around the corner from where my employer's data center is located. I go past it all the time, and the parking lot is usually full.

I've heard from people who have eaten there that the burgers aren't bad, but they are quite expensive. The building they are in used to be a really good BBQ joint that closed down.

I am partial to good Mexican cuisine. When out on the road, I like to dine at:

Lupe's Mexican Restaurant, located at Oracle Junction (near Tucson)
35530 N Highway 77/79 Oracle, AZ 85623

La Casita in Mammoth, AZ (oddly about 15 miles NE of my first entry)
400 S Highway 77 Mammoth, AZ 85618

In Prescott, Whiskey Row (Montezuma and Gurley Sts) has a large selection of restaurants and bars in this historic western town.

There are dozens of biker-friendly establishments serving good food and cold beer in the Phoenix metro area. Too many to name.

In RI off 95 exit 8b is an Italian restaurant named Pinelli's. Excellent food, cafe style but here's the kicker.......Bring your own beverage of choise. Bring wine they'll ask how many glasses. Bring your own beer same thing. Don't get there after 5PM or you'll be waiting.

Sorry it's not a burger joint, just good food.

Hunt's Oyster Bar in St. Andrews (Panama City, FL.) on Beck Ave. Great seafood and fresh Apalachicola oysters! Then ride over to St. Andrews marina for the sunset.

Not really a restaurant, although they do have good burgers and dogs, but the best thing is free beer. The place is called Rockyard Tavern and it is just outside Lake Lure,NC

In central Florida, off S.R. 64 near Ona in the middle of nowhere is a place called Solomon's Castle.

http://www.solomonscastle.org/

Adjoining it is a restaurant called the Boat in the Moat. Excellent sandwiches. I had a piece of meatloaf that must have weighed 12 ounces!

Anyway, I spotted it on a map of the surrounding counties from where I live so I rode over there on a Friday. Very quiet. About four or five bikers there. Looked like a nice place.

So on Saturday, I loaded up the minivan with my wife and two other couples. The place was packed! Service was still decent tho.

But there must have been 50 bikes there, or more!! Somehow, this place has acquired the reputation of being a good biker destination. If you look on the map, you can see that it really is in the middle of nowhere!

But it would be a good destination for Florida bikers.

There's so many of good places to eat that are biker friendly up here in NorCal. For about 10 years myself and a couple of my riding partners tried as many as we could. Close to home though and just off Hwy 101 you have to try Deb's all American Hamburgers in Redway, ca. It's about 2 miles to the west of Garberville,CA.Which is about 60 mi. south of Eureka. You can also get gas there. There is quite a mix of patrons that frequent this place, from bikers's, to cowboy's,dope grower's, rock star's, you name it. You can also eat outside, that's our favorite. After lunch head north on Hwy 101 for 3 miles and take the scenic drive of the avenue of the giant's (Redwoods). It's about a 12 mile ride. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

Tellico Plains, TN and the Cherohala Skyway.

For some good BBQ try Witherspoons Hog Heaven.

http://www.hogheavenresort.com/

Go north on TN 68 just a short way past TN 165 (Cherohala Skyway) to TN 39 and turn left. About 5 miles on the left.

Their Smoked Beef Brisket sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. My sons had the pulled pork sandwich and really liked it.

Can't think of anything here locally but Dreamland Ribs in Huntsville is supposed to be good. Anytime I am in Texas I always have to have a WhatABurger. We now have three in the state of Alabama. Two in Birmingham and one near Mobile. Not the same as having one in Texas though.
