Welcome to the forum!

I was offerred a job at the Colt Industries/Fairbanks Morse plant in Beloit, WI. I toured the plant and thought long and hard about the position. Nice -- small -- town.

Hello from Wisconsin. I am Allison.

Uh, who's "Allison"??? Thought you are Lonnie. Oh-oh.... now I'm worried! http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif

LOL,
Daryl

PS- what does "dakals" mean? or refer to? (if I may ask)

HAHA very funny guys. Lonnie is not using my sign on anymore. He was having trouble with his email so he could not get an activation code. He is not using my sign on anymore. His sign on name is grasshopper. Hey daryl, I'm the one you have been talking to for the most part through emails. I'm the one that asked you for the pics of your bike. Dakals is part of mine and lonnie's sons first and last name. And don't be worried Lonnie is on now under grasshopper. But i am on here as well. Just cause i am looking around for a bike for myself. I learned how to ride about two years ago and now i really want to get back out there. Just don't know what kind of bike would be good as my first bike.

Lonnie, IDaho is hbsmalley from the VR that did some fabrication as well, I think the bars that pushed the Cobra Bars forward for when you install forward controls.
Bud, Lonnie (grasshopper) here and bf4cm28 on the VR is the backrest man from the VR.
I'm sure you guys know each other ;)

Hey Beezer, You won't catch lonnie on this thread. This is his wife Allison. He will always be found in the thread about lonnie's backrests coming soon as grasshopper. I am dakals. Sorry didn't mean to confuse anyone. You can also email him or pm him. Sorry.

So did you take the job?

NOPE. It would have been a good one but I decided to make a drastic career change instead. Sometimes I wonder the ole "what ifs" and that job does come to mind.

Try again. See if the job is still open. Maybe they want you to come work for them still. I believe that everything happens for a reason and not to question it. Well whatever you have chosen to do i hope it works out for you.

Holy Canoli, woulda thunk it? I nevah knew dat! IDaho is HB Smalley. I had his Cobra adapter on my C50T with the forward controls. Stout product to say the least. 'Course I had to have it all chromed once I got it to match the rest of the "bling", but it sure made all the difference.

Small world dis place!!! Next you're gonna tell me that John of www.johnskits.com (http://www.johnskits.com) is on this forum under a different name too, aren'tcha? http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Welcome to KawaNOW Allison. Some of us get kinda carried away here on this board (but, you probably know that by now)...so make yourself at home and become part of the fun.

Oh....reading the forum FAQ won't hurt either. Might give you a better idea on how to handle galloots like Nico, BD and SWB....LOL. That goes for Beezer and Todd too!
