I took my kids and went on vacation to South Padre Island this august, and while there was talking to a few riders and they informed me of a rally there in the spring.

I just happen to take my laptop and in the beach house that night I looked up the rally..It is called the Beach and Biker Fest.

Has any of you gone to it, and if so, how was it?..The 2009 rally on the island is April 17-19th.

If any of you plan to attend, let me know as I am going to try to make it.

Hmmm, never heard about it Rally, but then that's nothing new.....there are rally's going on all over Texas I don't know about. I guess the ones I keep up with are the ROT rally in Austin and the Lone Star rally in Galveston.

The island is a very pretty place, and alot of riding to be done..If you havent looked at the website, it is worth checking out.. If anyone is interested, this may be a fun trip..I am almost certain I am able to go.

Well - you guys are in luck. I am the entertainment coordinator for Beach N Biker Fest this year! My club (Magic Valley Riders MC) is the ones that put on this rally. This will be our 5th year and it has grown every year.

I would love for you guys to come down and party with us @ Beach N Biker Fest. We have a great time. There is a Mexico Run that is a blast. The cost is only $15.00 for the entire weekend (concerts included). All proceeds go to charity!

let me know if you are interested and I can help you out with accomodations, directions, fishing trips, etc.

I have a few buddies down in San Antone that I will be hooking up with if all goes well. Maybe we can get a group from this site to ride down and back with..Could be an exciting trip with great weather.

The beach houses are fairly cheap. We stayed on the island for a week and had a blast..that was a week after the hurricane ripped thru there.
