Slogan contest....WINNERS ANNOUNCED [Archive]

Well, it's about time that KawaNOW have a slogan......we've got a name, a logo, regions to rally out of.....but no slogan.....

So, I propose a slogan contest.....take your best shot here in this thread. BD, Nico, SWB and myself will vote and select the best one.

Here are some examples of what I mean by a slogan.....

KawaNOW
"Dedicated to the dedicated"

KawaNOW
"What starts here, changes the world"

KawaNOW
"No Ruler is Cooler"

..........you get the idea.

The winner will receive a Deal's Gap, Dragon key ring by mail.

I was trying to come up with a slogan and figured if I new what Kawasaki meant I could use it as a base. Bad idea, Kawasaki translated means "river point ". Try using that for a motorcycle slogan. How about " Save a woman ride a Kaw ". or
" Ride hard, ride free send a Harley into a tree ". This is much tougher than it should be.

So A Nomad is one that doesn't like to be tied down to one spot...gotta be moving.

Ladies and Gents....
Your KawaNOW staff has been voting and discussing all day long. After carefully weighing the merits of every slogan entry, SWB, BD, Nico and myself have unanimously picked the winners.

There is not just one winner, but three. And we have two honorable mentions:

First Place goes to Blowndodge and Suennico. We took both of their suggestions and came up with the winning slogan:
- KawaNOW
"Where Riding A Nomad Is KawaNOW And Forever"

Second Place went to Todd for:
"THE Nomad Meeting Place"

BD, Suennico and Todd will receive a dragon keyring by mail.

Also, the panel of judges had two other slogans that they thought were honorable mentions:
