Eastern Rally Count

Hey Guys and Gals,
After reading the 400 member thread, it got me to thinking about the number of rooms blocked off for the Eastern Rally. I was wondering how many and who have made their reservations so far. It's certainly not a must to make them now. I am just curious as to how many we have so far. I may need to call to add more rooms to the block.

I was planning on calling after the first of the year.....don't ask me why I don't know. Of all the things I've lost....I miss my mind the most. ;)

I will be there for sure! but with most will call on the room after the holidays. ? has anyone started to plan rides are things to do? never been in that area so would like too look at planned rides on the net.

I have a couple of rides in mind. Just gathering info on them and will try to post on them at some point. There are several places to visit in that area such as Seneca Rocks, Cass Railroad, Canaan Valley. Check out the area on the net. It's a purty state.

I just made my reservations! http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif Our vacation plans for 2008 are going to be submitted soon and I wanted to be sure and get this trip on the list. We will be riding from Virginia Beach and plan to leave early Thursday morning.

I think it would be cool to meet other KawaNOW members and ride together along the way. I believe our area is the furthest east (which is a BIG DUH) seeing that we are on the oceanfront of Virginia.

The primary routes are 64 west, 81 north, and 33 west. Route 10 runs parallel to 64 west and it is a great scenic ride to Richmond.

Give me a shout if you are interested in meeting up.

I'm coming from West TN.....going thru Knoxville stopping at Honda Hoot. Hubbie stopping at Hoot - may have some painting done to the wing and then going to catch up with me at Elkins in a day or so. Could possibly run into each other somewheres around 81N out of Knoxville. When it gets closer will see if we might meet up somewhere...we could exchange cell #s.
