Just thought I'd share a bit. It was a nice day for riding.

Thanks. We had a lot planned for Sunday and decided at the last minute to scratch all of the work we had planned around the house and take off for Rock Island. I'm glad we did, and thought I'd share. Those falls you can drive right up to, no hiking required.

A lot of people go to Fall Creek Falls in Middle TN. Usually they get disappointed (not much water).

My wife and I have been to falls all over KY, TN, and NC.

NC has some of the nicest (Highlands, NC), KY has a big one (Cumberland Falls, KY) and nice State Lodge there, Middle TN, so far, I think the best are Burgess Falls just outside Cookeville, TN and definitely Great Falls at the Rock Island State Park (pretty close to Burgess Falls).

While I don't mind hiking, I love when you can pull right up to the falls. The best ones for this are:

1. Cumberland Falls, KY
2. Great Falls, Rock Island, TN
3. Cullasaja River Gorge, NC

If you get this way, let me know and my wife and I will try to hook up.

Nice. Love spur of the moment but I keep forgetting the camera. Thanks for taking yours.
