Greetings ... I always wondered where all the Nomad owners/riders were hanging out. I discovered this site earlier this week ... Well actually a fellow over on the Kawasaki Riders Forum steered me in this direction ... So, you guys got room for one more Nomad in the parking lot? http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I'll try to do this introduction thing as quickly and painlessly as possible. I'm Emu from Toronto, been riding legally since the mid-1960s ... and never stopped. Nowadays I ride an 03 Nomad which I bought brand-new at the Toronto Bike Show that December ... The bike came out of the crate in early spring 2004 and has been flying at ground level all over North America ever since. My Nomad is called the "Ark" (Alternative road king ). I retired six months ago and four of those months were spent doing an extended road trip (May to Sept, just over 18,000 miles) ... I travel with a camper trailer in tow. That trip will resume in the spring ... In the meantime, I hope all you KawaNow people don't mind a fellow Nomad biker kicking back and enjoying a little fellowship and hopefully contributing a little in the process ...

Come on down South and we'll show you some neat roads!!

DK, Vulcane ... I spent from the Memorial Day weekend to the last week of June in Suches at T.W.O. for a week and then toured over to Wolf Pen Gap Rd. and stayed at the High Valley Resort for three weeks. Rode about 1500 miles of mountain back roads. Loved racing up Blood Mountain from the south heading north on 129. Hwy. 60 up into Tenn. is pure biker heaven. Made a lot of friends at Dale's ...(home of the Wolf). When I die , I sure hope God donates the Georgia Mountains and Smokies as my little piece of heaven.
