This weekend we did what I like to call the River Run. It is Scenic Hwy 10 between Tahlequah, OK and Kansas, OK along the Illinois River. It is a 50 mile round trip run and is a very nice twisty ride. Here are some pictures.

Nice pics.
Looks like the weather was great for a bike ride.

It was. Low 70's. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day. The Nomad handled the curves with ease. It many ways it cuts them with greater ease than my 900 Custom did.

Nice pics, dhomoney! I was in Tahlequah this weekend visiting my daughter and her husband at their cabin in Wyhila Outdoor Club. I bet the ride was great. Maybe after the hip surgery Thursday, I'll take the newly trike converted Nad up there and I'll buy you a cold one.

Mikey,

I would love to see pics of a Nomad Trike as well. I am always up for a cold one with a fellow rider. Let me know. Where do you live at in this area?

Chainsaw and dhomoney...I promise to start a thread and post some pics of the trike when I get back on my feet. I had intended to do a step by step pictorial and keep everyone UTD on the progress, but the bolt up of the mounting assembly was so straight forward it was kind of boring. Now that the painting of the trunk, fenders and rear bumper has begun, it is getting more interesting and looking more like a project than just a metal tinker toy set.

dhomoney///I live in Shreveport, LA now, but originally from way down south LA near where terrebonne lives. I was just visiting the daughter (and g/c in utero) for the weekend.

Mikey,

Very cool. So your daughter lives here. Well let me know when you're back in the area and we can ride.

East TN and Kentucky are both beautiful places this time of year. I would enjoy riding there.
