Is it just the 2 little machine screws at the end of the exhaust on the under side and the whole enchilada will slide out? (I just gotta hear how it sounds ;)

remove two allens screws on the bottom and slide them out, or maybe. My brother tried it and one didnt slide out, hung up. Good Luck

LOL Then go ride in a parking lot full of cars.. I've done it a few times....lol the most car alarms I set off at one time was 6 and that's just idling around the lot. The way I run mine now is I removed all packing ran like that for a few months, now I've cut the baffles in half and to me NOW the sound is sooooo SWEET

I removed the baffels from my Cobra pipes and decided it was to loud for my taste..... Started to put them back in and found it took a lot longer to reinstall than it did to remove, like to have never got them to slide back into the hole up in the pipe and then turned right to align screw hole back.....

Scoot,
Question is: did you cut them in half LENGTHWISE like Nico recommended or in half so you now have two equal-length cannister size baffles???

Hmmm, now you've got me second-guessing this. I'm not keen on wrestling with putting them back in. If they don't go back in as easily as they come out (providing they don't get hung up as Doc mentioned), I may not be interested. I have NO patience for things that don't work like they should.

but that's just me...

wondering if you do run them w/o baffles are you going to ruin your chrome on the muffler since its just single wall pipe in the muffler area?? just pondering.

That lenghtwise cut was a quote from a Delphi thread....,.I haven't cut mine yet...... with them out it is the loudest thing you've ever heard.... been ducking cops for fear of a ticket...will cut them and put them back in....

Doc, I don't think it will, Most of the time a exhaust pipe turns blue it's near the cylinder not at the end. I believe BD can explain it better than me...lol
