We talked about this before, but is anyone interested. I thought we could do a Fall foliage ride either in the Lake of the Ozarks area or where ever. It would have to be in the next few weeks . I know its pretty cool here in Plato this morning, so the leaves will be changing a lot. Maybe Watchman knows a great route up by Jeff City/Columbia area we could run.

We could also consider riding in the Ozark Mtns. There are several good rides in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. I was thinking sat. Oct. 18 or 25 might be a good day. That would give us a few weeks to get the ride together.

The 18th is better for me. Unsure about the 25th. Mother in law birthday, we all know how important that is. There has to be more than 3 guys that want to do this.

Aye, there is another interested, Amigo Bill. I'm tied up on the 18th though, but don't make any plans on my involvement; you know us single unincumbered types, a fancy skirt could change our mind in a heartbeat. I'll be watching to see if a date works out for all.

Actually November 1st would work best for me.

DirtyJake enjoys the unencumbered life and takes the best offer. Since I am old fat and bald, any offer from any skirt would be a shocker.

I plan to take the RV and Nomad to Mineola, TX this Thursday. I may just ride on from there to Arkansas and Missouri, weather permitting of course.

Al/Bill; can't say I actually know any skirts of note; but I have it on relatively good authority that sucess often goes to he who turns over the most rocks, er skirts, as it were.

Bill, I'm envious of your toys. Have fun!

If, I say IF, everything works out we will be taking our fall ride next weekend (Nov. 1-2). I don't have any route planned yet but most likely we will ride south on Saturday, stay in southern MO, and return home on Sunday. Maybe hit some state parks like Meramec and Elephant Rock, swing across on 106 and up 19 to the old Iron Furnace at St. James and then north to home. Just about any roads in that area will be grand with color by next weekend.

It figures.I'll be heading back to South Carolina this weekend so I'll miss the ride.

Waiting for the fog to lift so we can hit the road. We have to stop in Jefferson City at the oldest son's house for a short visit and install the passenger floorboards on his 1500 classic. And then it is on south somewhere.

Mineola is just 10 miles up the road from me, billmac. Hope you enjoyed your trip.

Hey Trip, when I drove thru Lindale I saw a Nomad parked on the main drag, east side of the street. I was wondering if that may have been yours. My wife was following me in our dually pulling our fifth wheel trailer. We ended up spending about a week piddling around east Texas. We had a good time touring the lakes and back roads.

Could have been mine, billmac...although I don't live on the main drag. There is another guy here in Lindale that rides a black Nomad, but I haven't talked to him yet nor is he a member of KawaNOW.

Glad you guys had a good time in ETex. Lots of stuff to do and see around here.
